A Parked Life paints the intimate portrait of Petar who has been working for nine years in a job he hates: trucker. It is one of the hundreds of thousands of truck drivers from Eastern Europe who travel Europe 46 weeks a year, from north to south and from east to west. They live months in a row in their cabins or on the rest areas of highways. The journeys are monotonous, the moments of interminable waiting. While he is treated everywhere in an unfriendly manner, his couple is struggling and his child remains a stranger to him. Why does he carry out this profession? Where is he in relation to what he dreamed of having as his life? How does he see his future? relations with his family? Is the highway leading him to a better life? Or is it a dead end?
